Chestnut Hill College to Host Spring Fair Trade Event

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Chestnut Hill College will host a Fair Trade and Alternative Gift Giving event on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the Music Corridor, first floor of St. Joseph's Hall. This event, nearing its fourth year at Chestnut Hill, enables the public to learn about fair trade, and sample food and purchase a variety of fair trade goods.

There will be tables set up with goods from numerous fair trade organizations, including Infusion, One Village Coffee, tea and chocolate from local shop Tea Fairy, and gift items from Grace Gardener Market Day, St. Joseph’s Villa, Interfaith Hospitality Network, Handcrafting Justice, and Cecilian Center for Earth, Arts and Spirit, as well as cards from the Philippines and varieties of Divine Chocolate.
