College Launches New Online Tour of Campus

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Prospective students and their parents can now take a new, enhanced "online tour" of Chestnut Hill College from the comfort of their home and computer. The College has launched an expanded, Web-based tour designed to introduce prospective students and other visitors to the campus.
Along with the visual aspects of the tour, a student “avatar” provides information about the Colleges programs and buildings. The tour also features stunning 360-degree views of campus buildings and grounds, photos, and information on academic programs and college traditions.
The online tour is self-guided. With a click of the mouse, visitors can navigate the entire tour at their own pace or visit only those areas they are most interested in.
“The online tour allows us to connect with prospective students earlier in the admissions process, and allows them to see and visualize our campus", says Jodie Smith, dean of enrollment management. "For the first time, we were able to incorporate the SugarLoaf campus on our map and tour, giving visitors a chance to experience both campuses. By giving prospective students a feel for our campus, we hope this will make them enthusiastic about visiting the Chestnut Hill College in person.”
The online tour was developed by the Admissions Department in collaboration with Your Campus 360. Your Campus 360 develops next-generation multimedia applications that encourage constant interaction between educational institutions and prospective students. They offer exceptional branded campus experiences including Virtual Walking Tours, rich multimedia, and Podcasts production.
In addition to being available on the College's Web site, www.chc.edu, the tour can be found at www.chc.edu/tour
