Music Department To Host Music Major Day for Prospective Students

Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10 a.m.

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The School of Undergraduate Studies at Chestnut Hill College will hold a Music Major Day for prospective students on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Fournier Hall. The College is located at 9601 Germantown Avenue.

 

There will be special activities planned for prospective music majors, including tours of the music department, and information about scholarships and the College’s nine performing ensembles. There will also be live student performances, and the opportunity to speak with current students.

 

Chestnut Hill College currently offers three undergraduate degrees in music, including music performance, music education, a music major with business minor, and a music minor that can be combined with any area of study. Chestnut Hill College is one of the 124 schools worldwide to have the prestigious “All-Steinway” designation.
