Assistant Professor of Psychology
Chestnut Hill College, an inclusive
liberal arts college in the Catholic tradition, seeks to hire a full-time,
tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Undergraduate Psychology
Department. This is a 9-month appointment
scheduled to begin Fall 2015.
Areas of particular interest include, but
are not limited to, Applied Social or Experimental Psychology. The successful candidate will teach four
undergraduate courses each semester, advise undergraduate majors in their
course of study, mentor student research, and other duties typically associated
with a full-time faculty appointment.
The undergraduate psychology department, in which this candidate would
be primarily assigned, collaborates with faculty and students in both the MS in
Clinical and Counseling and PsyD in Clinical Psychology degree programs.
All candidates must have a doctorate in
Psychology and an active research program, in addition to having a strong
research background and the ability to teach courses in research methods,
psychological measurement, and possibly statistics as well as their area of
