Assistant Professor of Psychology

Chestnut Hill College has two openings at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning on July 1, 2013. The candidates will teach courses in the Master's Clinical and Counseling Psychology program.  We are seeking candidates with a strong identification with a modern psychodynamic orientation and with a systemic perspective along with relevant training and experience within these models. The candidates will teach courses selected from among the following, and according to their experience and expertise: human development, psychological trauma, play therapy, and assessment and treatment of children and adolescents.  These are tenure-track, 12-month positions.  


Candidates must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, must be licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania, must have clinical experience, and must maintain involvement in clinical practice or consultation.
