Chestnut Hill College will host a training for The Soldiers Project Pennsylvania on Bereavement Skills and “Complicated” Grief “on Thursday, April 24th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Redmond Room, St. Joseph Hall.
The training will explore the meaning of bereavement and to discuss basic bereavement skills and the multidimensional depths of grief. The discussion will include the “companioning” approach to caregiving and the essential qualities of caregivers.

Chestnut Hill College will host the Heroes on the Hill 5K Walk/Run and Music Festival on Saturday, May 3 beginning at 9 a.m. on the college campus.
The Heroes on the Hill 5K Walk/Run is a superhero-themed, family-friendly event that also includes a kids’ fun run and music festival. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Unified for Uganda, a nonprofit organization that runs a primary school in Northern Uganda.
