2013 Peaceful Schools Institute at Chestnut Hill College

Chestnut Hill College will host the 2013 Peaceful Schools Institute from June 18-20 on the College campus. The summer Institute for K-8 educators provides 18 hours of professional development on how to create caring, productive learning communities. The Institute is co-presented by the Institute for Forgiveness and Reconciliation at Chestnut Hill College, and by PeacePraxis Educational Services.
 
The Institute will present bullying prevention strategies, conflict resolution tools, positive discipline techniques, and social-emotional learning.

The fee for the training is $150 a person, or $525 for a school team of four people. Participants must register by May 10th for the Institute. For more information, or to register, please contact Christa M. Tinari at ctinari@peacepraxis.com or call 267-885-4177.

Transfer Day

6/4/2013

All Transfer Days begin in Fournier Hall with individual appointments from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You will have an opportunity to tour the campus with a student ambassador, meet with an Admissions Counselor or Financial Aid, learn about our Scholarship Program and discuss your transfer credits.

Graduate School Information Session

The CHC Graduate School Summer Information Session will take place on Thursday, June 6 at 5:30 pm. Anyone interested in our graduate degree, certificate, and certification programs in Administration of Human Services, Clinical and Counseling Psychology, Education, and Instructional Technology is invited to attend.
