Chestnut Hill College Mansion Renovation Wins Award from Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.

PHILADELPHIA, PA— Chestnut Hill College received the 20th Anniversary Merit Construction Award of Excellence from the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. The College was named as the excellence winner for the restoration/renovation of the SugarLoaf Mansion for projects over $2 million. The construction firm for the project was E. Allen Reeves, Inc. and the design firm was Voith and Mactavish Architects, LLP.
The Associated Builders Construction Awards of Excellence Program has become the premiere competition within the construction industry that recognizes outstanding construction projects across the Delaware Valley. Winners from the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter were honored at a ceremony on November 17, 2010.
Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. is a trade association of 25,000 commercial construction and related companies in 76 chapters throughout the United States. The Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter represents almost 600 members throughout Eastern Pa., from the Delaware border to the New York state border. ABC provides members with a variety of services in management education, safety, apprenticeship training, business development, labor relations and networking.
