College Inducts Students into the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Chestnut Hill College inducted twelve new members into the Sigma Beta Delta International Business Honor Society at a ceremony on campus on April 26, 2011.
The Sigma Beta Delta International Business Honor Society “seeks to recognize scholarship and achievement among students of business, management and administration at colleges and universities, and to encourage and promote personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind”. Membership in Sigma Beta Delta is the highest national recognition a business student can receive at a college or university with a Sigma Beta Delta chapter. To be eligible for membership, a business student must rank in the top 20 percent of their class as a junior or senior ( or at a master’s coursework level) and be invited to membership by the faculty officers.
