Direct Loan Counseling & Master Promissory Note

If you are required to complete Loan Counseling:

  • Go to https://studentaid.gov
  • Log in using your FSA ID & Password
  • Click the link “Complete Loan Counseling (Entrance, Financial Awareness, Exit)”
  • Click “START” for the ENTRANCE COUNSELING
  • Follow the prompts:
  • Select School to Notify (Chestnut Hill College)
  • Select Student Type (Undergraduate or Graduate) ​

If you are required to complete a Master Promissory Note:

  • ​Go to https://studentaid.gov
  • Log in using your FSA ID & Password
  • Click the link “Complete Loan Agreement (Master Promissory Note)”
  • Click “START” for appropriate MPN Type
  • MPN Subsidized/Unsubsidized (Undergraduates)
  • PLUS MPN for Graduate
  • PLUS MPN for Parents
  • Follow the prompts
  • Select School to Notify (Chestnut Hill College)
