Chestnut Hill College Professor Earns Fulbright Fellowship 

Kelly Butler, Ph.D., associate professor of chemistry, was recently named a Fulbright scholar and will return to India in July 2015 for nine months to lead faculty development workshops on the Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) teaching method for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Chestnut Hill College's Psychology Department Earns Reaccreditation

The Chestnut Hill College Department of Professional Psychology has earned reaccreditation for its Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology program by the American Psychological Association (APA). The reaccreditation, which will last until 2021, is the maximum length of accreditation possible for doctoral psychology programs.

Forensic Sciences Summer Camp Returns to Chestnut Hill College 

The Forensic Sciences Summer Camp, directed by Joe Kulkosky, Ph.D., chair of the College’s biology department, will be once again offering the unique opportunity to students grades 5-12, to participate in a week-long summer camp with immersion into the Forensic Sciences. Presented during the months of July and August, the camp will expand this year to five, one-week sessions and have classes for both middle school and high school students.

Chestnut Hill College will partner with Philadelphia’s Studio Incamminati to host guest artist, Lyn Asselta, who will present the painting workshop “The Landscape in Pastel: From Plein Air Studio,” the week of June 22 to 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the College’s Commonwealth Chateau, SugarLoaf Hill.
