IHC Open Classes: Viewing of the Italian film, "Terraferma" with Professor Maria Traub

Integrated Humanities invites all students, faculty, and staff to our open classes in the Art Studio. These are regular classes focused on a compelling topic. You are warmly invited to attend. Terraferma is a film about illegal immigration and the refugee crisis in Italy as experienced on a small island close to Sicily. The film was released in 2013 in the USA and was directed by Emmanuele Crialese. It won many awards and was nominated for best foreign movie by the American Film Academy.  It runs for 88 minutes. An introduction to the film and a Q & A after it will be hosted by Dr. Maria G. Traub.
